‘As a headteacher or SENCo you periodically come across pupils in your school who need you to find them access to external mentoring; sometimes they just need a neutral adult who they know is there for them. Adam supported such pupils for me, usually over a number of months. He built strong relationships of trust with those students and their families. He worked well with our Inclusion team and the class teachers to help those children back to on track alongside offering support and opportunities for those pupils to experience success.’

‘I have previously worked with Adam whilst he was working for South Gloucestershire council. Adam worked with students in both KS3 & 4. Prior to meeting students Adam met with SENDCo, key staff involved with the students and also parents. At the end of each mentoring sessions Adam will set the students a goal to achieve and also feedback to key staff. He was also involved with Annual reviews when applicable. Adam is always very professional and the students really engaged with his sessions and there were many successes. Adam was an excellent role model and enable his students to believe in themselves. Sessions were always engaging g and based on the individual students interest.
